How do you deal with DDoS attacks?

Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks are an unfortunate aspect of the modern internet, often perpetrated by the same criminals that send spam and malware.

We understand that many DDoS victims are just that – victims.

There are several kinds of DDoS (7, to be precise), and several ways to thwart the different kinds of attacks (nginx, CloudFlare, etc). We will work with you to resolve the DDoS issue with best-effort support.

Customers who are attacked by a large DDoS attack, which cannot be mitigated by our front-line DDoS protections systems, will be null-routed for 12 hours to prevent damage to our network and other clients.

Repeat victims may, unfortunately, be required to seek hosting elsewhere. We do not provide DDoS-friendly hosting. Nor are we a haven to sites which are considered “DDoS magnets” (game servers, terrorist propaganda, hate groups, etc).
