cPanel Extended Lifecycle Support Fees

Dear Clients,

We want to inform you about some important changes regarding CentOS 7 and CloudLinux 7. Both operating systems reached their End-of-Life (EOL) support on June 30, 2024, according to their upstream vendors. This means they no longer receive security updates, making them more susceptible to potential security vulnerabilities.

To allow more time for migrations and operating system upgrades, cPanel has added version 110 to their Extended Lifecycle Support (ELS) program. During this period, cPanel will partner with TuxCare to provide critical security updates for CentOS 7 and CloudLinux 7. They will also continue to offer essential security updates and technical support for cPanel v110.

Note: This is a cPanel initiative, not a program run by EuroVPS.

For more information, you can refer to cPanel’s official announcements:

ELS Fees (from cPanel):

License TypeNumber of AccountsJul 1 2025 – Jan 1st, 2027
Monthly Fee
Admin Cloud5€ 9.90
Pro Cloud30€14.10
Plus Cloud50€16.50
Premier Cloud100+€19.80
Premier Metal100+€19.80*

* The ELS fee for Premier licenses applies to all accounts on the server.

Please note that cPanel does not permit the continuation of licenses on outdated OS versions without participating in this Extended Lifecycle Support program.

Options for You:

  1. Upgrade Your OS:
We highly recommend updating to the latest supported OS version. This is the best way to ensure ongoing security and stability. We are here to assist with the migration process and can provide the same hosting plan without any additional charges for the OS update.
  2. Pay the Extended Lifecycle Support Fee:
If you choose to keep using an outdated OS, the ELS fee will apply based on cPanel’s pricing. We will pass this fee directly to you, as cPanel charges us for maintaining support on these older systems.

We want to be clear that we do not plan to cover the costs associated with outdated software support, and we also don’t want you to spend unnecessarily. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to consider upgrading to ensure the ongoing stability and security of your server environment.

Important Notice:

EuroVPS has discontinued support for outdated operating systems, including CentOS 7 and CloudLinux 7. To continue receiving support, you’ll need to upgrade your server’s operating system.

You can read more details here: EuroVPS Ends Support for Outdated Operating Systems

Please Note:  The Extended Lifecycle Support fees can not be removed unless you upgrade your OS off of CentOS 7 or Cloudlinux 7. Once you have upgraded you will not be charged for the ELS fees on the next invoice.

Thank you for your understanding. If you have any questions or need assistance with the upgrade process, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Best Regards,
The EuroVPS Team
